Inspection and Testing of Wiring After Installation

Leave a message

Upon the completion of the wiring installation, the trenches must not be immediately sealed or covered; instead, a comprehensive series of electrical tests must be conducted.

Continuity Testing: Specialized instruments are used to verify that every wire is intact and free of any breaks or discontinuities.

Insulation Resistance Testing: Measurements are taken of the insulation resistance between wires, as well as between wires and the ground wire, to ensure excellent insulation performance and eliminate any potential risks of electrical leakage.

Circuit Continuity and Leakage Testing: The circuit breaker is switched on, and each outlet is individually tested to confirm it is live. Additionally, a leakage tester is used to verify that the residual current device (RCD) trips rapidly in the event of an electrical leakage.

Only after all tests have been successfully passed may subsequent work-such as plastering, tiling, or the installation of decorative panels-commence.
